The owner was very hospitable and gave us a detailed introduction to the surrounding attractions and food. The location is close to the sea, surrounded by sea views, restaurants, and some historical buildings, the bed in the room is quite comfortable and we had a deep sleep.

Cozy, artistic cottage in a garden setting close to the beach and hiking trails. Is set in Powell River. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. Very quiet and restful. We had the little cottage to ourselves, surrounded by natural wild gardens. Chickens, geese and rabbits on the property (no roosters). The hostess are very nice. The wife is a painter and the husband is a glass artist. The walls of the cottage are decorated with their wonderful art. Away from the town of Powell River, but close enough for convenience.

What an amazing place to stay in Powell River! The cottage was so clean and comfortable and we instantly felt at home. Sue and Don are incredibly kind and helpful hosts.

Lots of pots and pans in a full galley-type kitchen. There is a full stove, a microwave and a decent size fridge. Very comfortable bed and pillows. It’s spacious for a studio and cool, probably the most important asset. Again as other reviewers have mentioned the shower is fabulous. Great location, close to Pebble Beach, Saltery Bay Park and Powell River, with its fabulous Historic Townsite; it’s certainly a beautiful area. Oh and the wifi was excellent. That’s important, as you can’t get service in some spots. Finally the hosts were very kind.

Great little kitchen including an air fryer ! Very comfy beds! Great views! Lots of hot water!
