Housed in a former Guild Hall, the Hotel des Balances enjoys a picturesque location on the Reuss river in the heart of Old Lucerne. Wi-Fi is available free of charge. Gorgeous hotel right on the lake with an amazing view. We had the spa room and it was amazing with a spa bath, sauna and jet shower. The rooms are very spacious and very clean with thoughtful touches like complimentary chocolates and l’occitane toiletries. The bed was so comfortable I had the best night’s sleep.

This mountain accommodation is set in a car-free zone at an altitude of 1,450 metres above Altdorf and Flüelen. Berggasthaus Eggberge can only be reached by cable car. While the pictures speak for themselves regarding the amazing location, accomodation, and food, the staff is absolutely incredible, they went above and beyond to make us enjoy our time. It is very rare to find this type of impecabble services and I guess this has to do with the fact that it's a family business and they put a lot of passion in everything they do. I simply don't have the words to describe how good we felt during our stay and we would definitely recommend it 😊

Considering the prices in Switzerland are much higher than most other countries we found that the Tell Pass was well worth it. This allowed us to travel through most of central Switzerland visiting the majority of the Alps as non skiiers.

If you visiting Luzern then no need of going anywhere in Switzerland like Mt. Jungfrajouch etc. Luzern is a Central Switzerland and with full of nature like Mountains ( Mt. Titlis, Mt. Rigi, Mt. Pilatus, Mt. Stansenhorn) if you visit this Four mountains it means you have covered full Switzerland. Also Luzern is surrounded by a big Lake. Take a Boat Ride and enjoy your trip. Must take Pass before because if we go individually at all of the places it will be very costilier.

Hub to visit all of central Switzerland. Mountains - Titlis and Pilatus(Plus a few more) Lake - Lake Luzern Panorama train - Take the one from Luzern to Interlakken Take the TELL PASS. It gives you free access to most attractions and all public transport in central Switzerland. Worth every penny.

A small but beautiful town/city aptly located to move around central Switzerland. With the train station, bus station and lake close to each other, its really easy to travel to and from the accommodation as well as to the many excursions Switzerland has to offer. Enjoyed being in Luzern so much that we felt that we should have stayed more, so will surely come back

Luzern is a great base to explore central Switzerland and the mountain regions around the beautiful Vierwaldstätter Lake. It is a beautiful, old, open city, easily accessed by boat or train, has many pedestrian walkways with a relaxed atmosphere. A great base/ start/ finishing point also for the Swiss Path around the Lake. We love Luzern in all seasons!

The staff was incredibly kind and generous, this is the best Swissotel. I’ve stayed at by far, one of the best memories of my life.

breathtaking lake view from the room. walking distance to the Rigi Bahn station. delicious complimentary breakfast. Good for a one night stay if you plan to visit the Rigi Kulm and not want to rush back to Lucerne in one single day. it’s in walking distance to the Rigi Bahn station, and away from the tourist. Vitznau is cozy and quiet town. The rooftop restaurant across the street is pretty good, they follow fusion food using the local ingredients.
