I arrived a bit ealrier and was lucky since the cleaning lady was around and she was helpful and openned the door for us. Eventhough we did not notify the manager of the arrival time, the unit was ready. You better call the manager ahead of arrival time to pick up the keys since there are not enough people around for prompt assistance.

A perfect place for a couple of honeymoon nights! You have 4 balconies all to yourself where no one but squirrels and birds can disturb you. A spacious apartment with a lot of place, nicely furnished! It’s very close to the main road but we personally didn’t feel it - there’s a lot of trees around and one can ignore the occasional noise from the passing trucks. There is a jacuzzi indeed (as advertised) but take into account that you’re in Costa Rica where the hot water supply is …problematic. So you’d have to boil up several pans of water to make yourself comfortable. Fortunately, the kitchen is fully equipped and the stove is great!

Situated in Uvita, 600 metres from Playa Ballena, Hotel Ballena Dorada features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. this is my second time I stayed in this beautiful place. And I'll keep coming for the following visits to the area. The bedrooms are comfortable, tidy, small bathroom are but it's all you need. It has shared Kitchen area, with fridge, microwave, anything to cook and make coffee. The staff is beyond helpful, made us feel at home. Pool is refreshing, and you can see and hear monkeys around. Also the sunsets are beautiful. love this spot
