This is our fifth time staying at this hotel. We love it and it is our preferred choice when travelling through the area. Very clean and comfortable. Pet friendly. Staff always really helpful. We love that it has a restaurant on site and the food is exceptional. Breakfast likewise. Plenty of parking outside.

This family-run accommodation is situated in the heart of Bundenthal. Landgasthaus & Hotel zur Krone offers an on-site restaurant, children's playground, free WiFi and free private parking. Big, comfortable room with great interior design throughout. The staff were really friendly and accommodating (Particularly to our lack of german). The breakfast was amazing, so much choice. Also the dinner was the best dinner we had on our trip and we had come from the Dolomites! We would love to come back in the summer with our dog and hike the local trials.

The breakfast buffet went beyond our expectations and impressed us with lots of variety, including a lot of vegetarian options. The hotel is in a nice quiet location with pretty cliffs and forest nearby and lots of parking available. We especially appreciated that we could lock our bikes up in the container overnight, because we came to the area to mountain bike. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable.

This family-run hotel in the Palatinate Forest lies next to Hauenstrein’s Shoe Museum. Surrounded by scenic hiking routes, it offers a country-style restaurant and cosy rooms with a balcony. We booked at the last minute and they were more than happy to accommodate us and fit us in for a delicious evening meal as well. Everyone was extremely welcoming and what we especially noticed was the attention to detail: thread and needles in the wardrobe; a rucksack and umbrella in the room; bins just where you need them. The village is peaceful and set in stunning countryside. We had local speciality main courses for dinner and would definitely go back again if only the restaurant were local to us. The breakfast selection was excellent.
