Comfortable and functional apartment with great kitchen amenities. Very good location in central Schwerin with the palace and a supermarket down the road, and just a short walk from several attractions and restaurants - we even found a nice little nook to go swimming in the Schweriner See (away from the harbour and main waterfront areas) a few minutes walk down the street. The host was very hospitable and a delight. We very much enjoyed our stay in Schwerin and hope to visit again one day!

Spacious room and en suite with everything you need even an electric fan - which was needed. Good location - just a hundred yards to the old town, the same to the castle. Very helpful allowing us to park in the hotel courtyard for a few Euros. Breakfast was plentiful and relaxed.

Schwerin is not that large of a city and I was able to walk from the Main Train Station to the Hotel in (20) minutes. It is an older building with older interior but, at the same time, it is well maintained, clean, organized, and has a friendly staff. There are three floors which can be accessed by the stairway or an elevator. The rooms are a bit small but not uncomfortable and sufficient for two people. All the common hotel accessories are provided: a landline telephone, television, free wi-fi, outlets, hair dryer, tissue paper, bath and hand towels, body & hair soap dispenser in the shower. Housecleaning stops by each day to tidy up. The breakfast room is fun with the elephant head decorations all around the room, plenty of seating and the food selection is varied: cold cereal, juices, coffee, tea, Brötchen with cheeses and Marmelade. I was very pleased with my interactions with the front desk and the staff at breakfast time. Very friendly.

The selection of items on the buffet was excellent. Also appreciated the offer of freshly prepared eggs.

Right in the city center, you can reach all the famous attractions in less than 15min.

Lovely staff - A big shout out to Angela that served us dinner with a very friendly service. Even though we had a very very minimum German, we understood each other enough. Outside the room there was a mini bar with water, coke, beer, wine and snacks. We could take anything and pay at departure. The double bed was made of two twins and with two single duvets what was perfect for us. Breakfast was very well served! Quiet area as well but very central. The village itself is absolutely fenomenal and a must to visit!

The host was charming and informative - everything was fine except the price - we felt that 220 euros was a little more than was justified

As bikers, each of us was welcome with a beer. That was super appreciated especially after a ride in the rain. We were also offered the parking under a roof. Staff very nice and kind. Quiet location very close to the lake. Basic rooms but clean and pretty large. Dinner was good and breakfast even better. The area is nice well worth a visit.

Location, cleanliness, and welcoming staff

We travelled with friends for one night there. We needed a grill and the host kindly provided us with a brand new grill. The house was very comfortable and was very well equipped. I would definitely go back there, perhaps in summer.

We arrived out of hours and they sent us good information on how to access the room keys. I accidentally left my key in my room and the staff came from their home to open it for me with no complaints

Excellent breakfast, super nice staff, beautiful and clean room, nice garden with chairs and tables to sit, beautyful landscape, and most important it was quiet.

The hosts are very polite and gentle, they speak English very well.

Directly on the lake with a wonderful view, excellent breakfast buffet and super super friendly and efficient staff. So enjoyed our stay, we are already looking forward to going back.
