Transfer from Toledo train station is via a 15min walk. Since Toledo is all uphill there’s an escalator(see pic attached) which can be easily missed as it is situated within a public car park. This escalator takes you from the Puente de Alcantara up to the plaza de Zocodover.

The Hotel Rural Casa Grande Almagro is located in the famous La Mancha province. It has a swimming pool, and all rooms have Wi-Fi and hydro-massage showers. A really beautiful well appointed hotel. Everything was to a high standard and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and we had it in a beautiful room. The room was very nice, comfort bed and good shower. All in all a great hotel and a nice stay.

This hotel is named after its surrounding district, famous for its smart noble mansions. It lies a pleasant 15-minute walk from the monuments of Toledo city centre. I'm a coffee and go person, so I didn't get breakfast, but the value would be hard to beat. The options are plentiful and delicious looking. Our room was great. *Super* comfortable bed and a great shower with a downpour type shower head. The staff were fantastic and very helpful. Our location was perfect with easy parking and an easy walk to the old city. I usually like to mix things up, but if I came back to Toledo I would probably stay here again.
