Absolutely delicious breakfast, the best I've had in any hotel in Europe or the States. Served at your table (instead of buffet, this is a treat in and of itself!!!), very efficient in service and very friendly. The best way of serving scrambled eggs I've ever seen, anywhere! The people working here really aim to make your stay wonderful. Everyone was helpful and eager te please. ery pleasant rooms! We ate at the restaurant twice, this was also very good and not very expensive. The location is beautiful, up the hillside, overlooking the mountain valley. V And only 8-9 kms from the Miami Platja beach!

Set in Botarell, Hostal Sant Roc features air-conditioned accommodations with free Wi-Fi and free public parking. It is situated 10 km from Cambrils Beach and 19 km from Salou on the Costa Dorada. Very friendly staff. they didn’t speak English and I don’t speak Spanish but we got on very well. The room was spotless and came with a microwave and small fridge. I have no idea why it has only 1 star. The simple restaurant next door was pretty good too. A bit off the beaten track but well worth the detour. Much cheaper and nicer than the overnight stop in France.
