We’ve never stayed before in any similar property and we loved the experience. They have only couple of rooms inside of the Bird center and museum. The view from the dining room was super relaxing and quiet. You also get a free museum ticket.

We had a fantastic stay at Nafarolla. The view from the room was great, the room itself also really good and staff super friendly. Would definitly recommend!

Eco Hotel Rural Lurdeia - Adults Only is a country house located in Bermeo. Surrounded by lush greenery, all rooms include a flat-screen TV and bathroom with shower. Everything! Lurdeia was so beautiful and lovingly cared for, from the hotel itself and it’s rooms, to the well tended grounds, and the delicious breakfasts artistically served and most of all the kindness of our hosts. We felt well cared.

This impressive castle is located in Gautegiz Arteaga, in the Basque Country’s Urdaibai Nature Reserve. It offers a gourmet restaurant with a roof terrace boasting fantastic countryside views. It is a castle! Breakfast was wonderful. Walking access to Urdavai Bird Center amazing! Staff friendly , kind, responsive.

This rural hotel is located in the quiet village of Morga, a municipality partly included in the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve. Our host, Miriam, was exceptional. Great information on the area with wonderful recommendations. On our day of departure, a Monday, the restaurants in town were closed. She went and made us coffee and breakfast.

Luruna Palacio has its own secured car park which is not always the case in Spain. Above all, the staff of this hotel are exceptional. Our big thanks to the lovely Itsasu. The Host is exceptionally hospitable and helpful. The restaurant/bar he and wife have inside not only has good food but also is a main social hub for the small village. Comfortable bed and great views all around.
