Situated outside the Sologne region, the hotel is located in the country of the Châteaux of the Loire Valley. This hotel has a cozy atmosphere, well located for visiting castles, and service was amazing. Cocktails and breakfast were worth the price. Their family room is great value. It’s a real 2 bedroom suite with a shared bathroom. This means that you get to keep your privacy but there is only one exit to the hallway. Your kids don’t have to go out to a public space to get to your room if they get scared at night. Kid friendly pool also a plus!

Situated on the banks of the Loire River, Empreinte Hotel & Spa is 4-star boutique hotel offering a range of wellness facilities, a bar and a meeting room. Free WiFi is available at the hotel. The location is perfct, we parked our car and did not need it until we left, everything is within walking distance. Our room was overlooking the Loire, beautiful. Breakfast was excellent, a great choice of almost everything you can think of for a breakfast. The staff were extremely nice and it helped that they all spoke English, we tried with our school French, but they all were very helpful.

Hôtel & Restaurant - L'Écu de Bretagne is situated in the quiet medieval village of Beaugency. It features an outdoor, heated swimming pool, and WiFi is free of charge in the entire property. This is a lovely hotel. The room was large, well equipped and very comfortable, the bathroom was modern and very clean. A small fridge in the room contained water and there were complementary biscuits. Quiet and peaceful. Free parking was available in the central courtyard. The restaurant was very good, as was the breakfast. Both the restaurant and the breakfast room were elegant. The staff were very professional, friendly and helpful. Situated about halfway between Chambord and Orleans, it makes a very good base for visiting the chateaux in the area as well as Orleans and Clery-Saint-Andre. Highly recommended. The medieval town is also worth exploring.
