The bed is wide and very comfortable - I had the best sleep after days of traveling and staying in hotels. Spacious room with a long table to put things on. Small balcony with a view of the mountains and the pool (room 14). Easy access just off the highway. Good selection of French TV channels. Free parking and strong wifi. Highly recommend.

Set beside the Pyrenees Ariégeoises Regional Park, this. The Originals Access, Hôtel Foix has a 24-hour automatic-reception and you can visit Toulouse, 75 km away. An excellent 2-star hotel, but in my opinion it deserves more. The room is big enough with everything needed in it on the ground floor so it was very convenient with the luggage to go straight into the room. A very good shower, the room had facilities for making coffee and tea, a TV, a very rich and varied breakfast. Parking adjacent to the room free of charge The location of the hotel is very close to the river and ducks swim in it. Lovely!

Situated within the Pyrenees Ariegeoises Natural Regional Park, Hostellerie de la Poste is situated in the village of Oust. The staff were very helpful and tolerant of our poor French. The hotel is ideally suited as a base to explore the area which is fascinating and not too touristy. Great mountain walks and little villages to explore abound. We only had breakfast at the hotel on the last day of our stay. It was an extended version of the continental breakfast. Coffee, croissants and bread and jam, cheese or honey. Plus yoghurts, fruit salad and muesli. There were no hot options, but that didn’t bother us because we never have a cooked breakfast. Given French prices for coffee the access to a coffee pot for as many cups as you like alone was worth the price of the breakfast. We certainly did not leave the table feeling we needed to call into a boulangerie to fill up :-)

Small B&B hotel, family business run, ideally located in the center of the town of Seix, in Ariège. We have 10 bedrooms all with shower and wc. We will do our best to welcome you. Christiana and Thierry are warm and friendly, they genuinely make you feel that they are happy to see you. Our room was so cosy (despite outside temps of minus 5) and had great views from the three windows. Breakfast was excellent. All local produce and very copious. We will definitely stay again. incredible value too.

La Barguillère is located in Saint Pierre De Rivière, 5 km from Foix in the Midi-Pyrénées. Set in a building typical of the Barguillère Valley, it offers free Wi-Fi access. Fantastic overall experience! Very friendly owner, excellent and very clean rooms, well located and superb restaurant!

Auberge Des Deux Rivières is a inn located in the heart of the French Pyrenees department the Ariège at the confluent of the Alet and Salat rivers. The area was stunning and the Inn had lots of character. The staff were very friendly & even though they were busy spent time going through the menu with me (My french wasn't as good as I thought!) The food was delicious. The bed even though it felt hard when we first sat on it was amazingly comfortable.
