Photos don’t do it justice! Gorgeous rooms - every detail has been so well thought out. Exceptionally well appointed room. Breakfast is brought to the room - small terrace outside overlooking the sea & the quiet road in front. Very welcoming team. One huge added advantage is the adjoining restaurant ‘Manger sur la Plage’ which is also very special. The whole visit was an absolute treat.

Chateau du Champdolent was a charming, charming place in the middle of French farmlands with a super kind host. This was one of our favorite places we stayed at in France. The building itself has an incredible history dating back to the 15th century with links to the royal family. Dominique’s meticulous restoration has saved all of the old beauty while making the space modern and comfortable. Our room was very spacious and the bathroom huge with an extra-long bathtub. The breakfast was very delicious and beautifully presented. It was definitely the best breakfast of our entire trip! Free and spacious parking was very welcome. After the hustle and bustle of the cities, Champdolent was a wonderful way to decompress and take in the quiet and beautiful countryside. We highly recommend this Chateau!
