The hotel is a chateau that has been recently renovated. Everything is brand new. the rooms are beautifully decorated, super cozy and very comfortable. There is a golf course in the works that should be ready by summer 2023. The food is excellent and the ambiance is great. We will come back to lovely Dordogne and will stay again at the Domaine de Rochebois.

Situated in Limeuil, 40 km from Bergerac Train Station, Les BALCONS de L'ESPERANCE features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and a garden. We were welcomed with a lot of enthusiasm and caring to this beautiful country inn right on the Dordogne River. Sitting on the patio looking out over the valley was a bit of heaven! The dining room was lovely. It was a fine base to visit nearby Sarlat La Canadia and to see other ancient buildings in the Dordogne area.

Great stay! absolutely recommended.

Comfortable bed and the best shower cubicle we have had in Europe. Our host went over and above to make our stay memorable. We needed transportation which was organized for us even though there weren't any taxis. A big thank you to the staff member for driving us to where we needed to go. A highly recommended property set in a beautiful part of the town.
