We had a magnificent stay at the Borrowdale Gates Hotel. You have everything you need at the hotel. And it’s a nice getaway from the city. Close to Keswick and the beautiful hikes in the Lake District. Highly recommend!

El The Coledale es una posada rural del siglo XIX situada a 3,2 km de Keswick y ofrece 2 bares tradicionales y habitaciones elegantes. We spent only 1 night in the hotel. The double and the single beds were comfortable with a clean toilete. The hotel has a big parking area but if you cant find any you can still park on the street for free. There is a path 10 minutes from the hotel into the mountain. The full english breakfast was delicious definitely worth it. I can highly recommend the hotel if you would like to spend a few days in the lakes.

El Skiddaw Hotel es un alojamiento reformado que se encuentra en el corazón de Keswick y ofrece buena comida y habitaciones amplias con set de té/café. Es genial que la habitación tenga dos recámaras, una para los papás y otra para los niños y la ubicación es excelente!

El The Mary Mount Hotel está ubicado a orillas del lago Derwentwater, en un terreno de 2,2 hectáreas con jardines arbolados. Las habitaciones tienen baño privado y vistas al campo. We loved the large room with views up Derwent Water and the large outdoor deck next to a garden area ( room no. 40). The furnishings were very comfortable and included a small table and chairs by the view window. The bathroom had floor heating and the shower was a good size , hot water and with great water pressure.The well staffed restaurant is very large and included a separate section for hikers and people with dogs . The breakfasts were nice and the dinner menu had lots of options and prices very reasonable . The restaurant has lovely views across to the lake and mountain backdrop. The proximity ( about two hundred metres) to the Lodore ferry landing was very convenient and provided an opportunity to do a delightful Derwent Water walk by using the ferry to transfer to another location and walking back to the hotel. There is lots of free parking right at the hotel.
