The host had supplied fresh eggs from her hens, local cheese, oatcakes aswell as some local beer. Lots of information supplied in a book in the lodge along with maps. Fully stocked with everything you could need. The lodge was very clean. The sheep's, hens and other animals all come up to the lodge which we thoroughly enjoyed. A break away from internet and distractions was a dream.

On Scotland’s far west coast, The Mission Bunkhouse in Mallaig offers simple hostel accommodation right opposite the train station and seconds from the Caledonian MacBrayne ferry terminal. Staff were great. Rooms are simple and clean. Bathrooms and showers very clean.

The Hotel is a 1 minute from the gare station and the ferry, for people who want to spend the night in mallaig before going to an isle or even if you want to spend sometimes in Mallaig this Hotel is just perfect, and everything you need is just beside, this is about the location and about the Hotel it's very proper, bed very comfortable, and a beautiful terrace where you can eat and chill, the personal was super kind and even if I came too late at night, she made sure I can get to my room by myself!
