Situated in Helensburgh and with Glasgow Botanic Gardens reachable within 38 km, Rooms Above Sugar Boat features a terrace, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a bar. I really enjoyed my stay at Sugar Boat. The room was well-designed, spotless and the bed was super comfy. The shower was great and there were some extra features like a kettle, a selection of teas, ground coffee, and two freshly baked shortbread cookies. I had dinner at their bistro with their soup of the day (red cabbage with sour cream), accompanied by crispy and buttery sourdough bread. At breakfast, I wanted to try their porridge and it was scrumptious. The quality of each ingredient was high, portions were generous, and the price was more than reasonable. The staff were kind and easy-going. I definetely recommend Sugar Boat and hope to return soon.

Situated in Oban, 600 metres from Corran Halls, No17 The Promenade features accommodation with a terrace, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. Julia and Dougie are standouts!! Incredibly accommodating and friendly. Restaurant was delish and we kept going back. Patio is a huge win and I wish I could have moved in. I'm picky and I love this place as did my travel companions

The most wonderful small hotel/B&B with beautifully appointed rooms, friendly and welcoming hosts, and totally delicious and varied breakfast menu catering for all tastes! Amazing views of the loch and islands from the room and the living area.

The Manor House Hotel boasts a fine dining restaurant, drawing room, fully licensed bar with outdoor terrace and garden. A cooked Full Scottish and à la carte breakfast can be enjoyed at the property.... The Manor House Hotel is a charming property, with thoughtful, modern details in the rooms (direct USB connections for devices, for e.g.) and beautiful views, but what makes it truly exceptional is the team that runs it. Daniel and Beatrice were gracious and friendly hosts, but it was David who truly stood out, offering superlative, personalised service. We were a large group, including 4 teenagers, and both David and Steven were amazing in dealing with them. The adults in the group could truly relax and not worry about the kids as we could see that they were safe and well taken care of. The property also has an excellent fine dining restaurant on the premises, we had a fantastic dinner there and also great breakfasts. I must also commend the back-end staff, obviously the kitchen was brilliant, and housekeeping was spotless during our stay.
