This is the perfect place for visiting areas outside of touristic destinations in Crete. Apartment is situated in nice village Spili in central Crete. Apartment has a fantastic view on mountains (sunsets are awesome). It is super clean, with new furnitures. Owners of this appartments has also restaurant in center of the village with awsome food. Breakfast were very good and diversed.

Nice family hotel run by Kostas (owner) - the great host always ready to help and make our holiday as good as it gets. Situated in silent place of lovely Bali resort just a few minutes walking from the beach. For us it was a base for exploring West and Central Crete - from Balos to Lasithi. We had a wonderfull time there :)

Great locatin, beach is 200 m away, supermarket even closer, every day fresh fruit and vegetables, lots of restaurants, good start point to get to know central Crete. The apartment was very clean, every day they clean it and you get fresh towels every two days. The owners were really nice, they help you with everything.

Clean apartment, above the village of Lentas, quiet location, with a wonderful panoramic sea view. Great base for exploring south central Crete (e.g. Tripity beach).

This hotel, exceeded every single expectation we had for our stay! The hotel was just insanely beautiful, food and drinks were delicious but above all else, the service we received from every single member of staff was phenomenal. We both cannot express how perfect the service was, from checkin to check out. Every single interaction we had with staff was exceptional service, they all went above and beyond, with smiles on their faces and actually wanting to help! We felt like we were on our honeymoon with our surroundings, the extra touches the hotel provide are second to none, we enjoyed breakfast with a live saxophone player - fresh fruits and snacks upon arrival to our room which was close to midnight and the constant going out of there way to help us is an experience we will never forget! We will no doubt be back, absolutely stunning resort with the best team working behind the scenes. Special thank you to Polina at concierge for giving us the best local advice and Manolis at the beach bar for the excellent service every day! We had the BEST time - if you are thinking of booking, please do not hesitate, Amirandes is just beautiful, you will not be disappointed in the slightest, the hotel actually took our breath away!

TL/DR: the staff was the friendliest I have ever seen. Everything was sparkling clean. The food was great. The all inclusive package is a must have Now a more detailed review: We made a huge mistake by NOT getting the all inclusive pack, and had to go out every day for lunch or dinner. There's a few restaurants within a 15/20 minutes walk, but under a scorching sun that was not worth it. The paid/specialties restaurants in the hotel are too fancy, too expensive and often had to be reserved in advance, so that was not an option. The only one we went to was the one by the beach. The staff was always friendly. Even under a 40/110 degree heat everybody was happy to be there. That made an experience much more agreeable in the entire hotel. At night there would be entertainment in two places. Usually a more cruise ship like dancing or a band playing. And by the pool there would be a more laid back band playing. The whole place felt vibrant and has a 100% family vibe to It. Lots of kids playing in all places. The hotel has a convenience store with basically everything you need. It runs from 8 to 10 every day, and the staff was also super friendly. We would gladly be back, but now with the all inclusive package.

Best value for your money that we found on Crete. Clean pools, great ocean access, large rooms with views and good food. The facilities are dated but great value for your nightly rate. The staff are amazing very helpful and professional.

: My stay at Star Beach Village was wonderful! The staff was friendly and helpful, the hotel was very clean, and there were plenty of water facilities like pools and slides to enjoy. The food was delicious, and the animation program for kids was a great addition. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend it.

Simply amazing property!! Beautiful, next to the sea and mountains in backdrop, view is breathtaking!! So large property with variety of restaurants, we fell short exploring all the cuisines. Dinner was surreal, next to sea, listening to the waves with a glass of wine.. simply & truly amazing!!

food and service was excellent and the entertainment was excellent. the team assisted where they could and ensured we were helped when needed. We felt very comfortable in our room and how the hotel was managed. Food and snacks were always available and it felt like a real holiday. The management and team of the hotel were world class. we left very happy.

The breakfast was excellent but what made the experience exceptional was the staff and a special acknowledgement to George and his breakfast team Despina and Sophia at the reception , Michalis, Danae, Antoni at the beach and Zacharias and Dino - they were all awesome . Our vacation ended with a special touch with an impeccable drive to the airport with Ari who invited us to his hometown and convinced us to return to Crete !
