We spent 3 nights at the hostel in Lago Azul. Benjamin and the other guy in charge of the hostel were super nice and caring. They provided us everything we needed. It is a very rustic hostel, immersed in nature. Very beautiful. The price might be too high for the type of accommodation we had and its facilities (no warm water in the private room. Not so close to the Naranjos park ), but the stay has been very nice.

Offering an outdoor swimming pool and a restaurant, Honduyate is located 3 km from Chagüites Square and in front of Yojoa Lake. It features free Wi-Fi connection in all areas. We loved our bedroom. Enormous double bed, sitting area with comfy sofa, lots of space and tasteful decoration. No fridge but we were able to buy a bag of ice from the kitchen. We hired kayaks from the hotel and had fun pottering about on the lake and bird watching. Breakfasts good. Nice restaurant area for lunch looking out over the lake.
