Located in the hamlet of Entreves, 2 km from Courmayeur, Hotel Aiguille Noire offers accommodation 600 metres from the Skyway Monte Bianco. Very easily accessible and ample parking. We got a very warm and helpful welcome. The building, despite being a hotel, doesn't have that cheap, prefab style elements you'll find in too many hotels these days. It has a very traditional and authentic appearance with a touch of old grandeur which makes you feel a traveller, rather than a tourist. The room, with practical furnishing, has plenty of space and was cleaned thorougly by the staff (even our own wine glasses were cleaned, 1st time ever!!). Located close to an all too cozy café and some very fine resaurants. A 5 minutes car or bus trip brings you straight to the mighty beautiful Val Ferret or, if you take the other direction, to Courmayeur.

From the hosts that greeted us, to the exceptional food they served us both at dinner and at breakfast. The views are breathtaking and everywhere you look you should expect to be stunned both by the natural beauty of the place as well as the man made enhancements so exquisetly done.
