Located in an ancient monastery and boasting a garden, Monastero Di Cortona Hotel & Spa is set in Cortona. This hotel offers free WiFi throughout, a bar and air-conditioned rooms. I do not know where to begin! 😀 The hotel, surroundings and the location 10/10! The staff is very firendly, kind and always smiling so the atmosphere is very nice! They were very helpful with my gluten free diet (I am coeliac) and they gave us a great recommendations for Cortona attractions 😀 The balcony with the pool is divine with a spectacular view of the village. Breakfast at the balcony is a five star experience 😀

He picked us up from a nearby parking lot as the roads were too narrow for our vehicle. The convent is gorgeous, the rooms are clean and the food is outstanding (we had breakfast and dinner)! Relais & Chateaux IL Falconiere was an exceptional property and worthy of 5 stars. It was the perfect oasis right outside of Cortona to enjoy both the Tuscany and Umbria hilltowns. We stayed a total of three nights having dinner at the one star michilien restaurant two nights and the ambiance, service and quality of dining were exceptional. It was really enjoyable to spend the day driving in the nearby Tuscan and Umbrian villages and then enjoy a late afternoon couple of hours in our own tuscan countryside with pool and fine dining experience. Breakfasts in the original greenhouse were also outstanding with ambiance and local abundance!

The staff are sympathetic and they try to help you during your stay. The breakfast was awesome. If you have a car the localisation of the hotel is great to stay close to Montepulciano. There is a restaurant in the hotel and I have a feeling that the food should be very delicious over there.

The thermal spa facilities at the Hotel were exceptionally good. They were varied, open all day, very clean and well serviced by staff, both for towels, accessories and safety. All of the staff were very knowledgeable, helpful and provided us with the exact information we required to get the maximum benefit from the spa waters. The hotel staff were similarly helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel drivers who undertook our transfers to and from Florence Airport to the hotel were particularly good: friendly, informative, polite and very safe drivers.
