The lodge was built as a family home 5 years ago and they started renting out a couple of years ago. So it has a very homey feel. Owner Youssef speaks perfect English and Aziz and Layla were exceptionally attentive. The property has spectacular views and the only wifi in town (though it was a bit weak / spotty). The room was clean, bright, and spacious - the place is very new. Food was plentiful and good. There was no set mealtime - you just let them know when you want to eat. Unfortunately, I got sick and mostly slept for 4 days. But the view from the terrace is gorgeous and I'm sure there would be good hiking in the area.

Hôtel Chellal Ouzoud is situated in Ouzoud, a 5-minute walk from the famous waterfalls. The hotel is very pretty! The view from my window was picturesque. Everything worked. Also, I went on a wonderful hike with one of the hotel staff as a guide.
