Facing the beachfront, Triton Prestige Seaview and Spa offers 4-star accommodation in Maafushi and features a fitness centre, garden and shared lounge. This Hotel has exceeded my expectations. Let us consider all the pros: -Staff: they were really friendly. Always trying to help and very professional. -Check-in/out: I arrived early (i.e. 9 am) and they worked really hard to let me check in asap. However, even without the early check in, they let you change and use the infinity pool or even go to the beach while waiting for the room to be ready. The check out was done in 2 min. I spent the remaining day at the infinity pool (where you have a toilet and a shower) while waiting for my speedboat to take me to the airport in the afternoon. -The Hotel: it is situated on the east coastline. Very modern and clean. A 5 min walk from the so-called bikini beach. -The Room: it was really nice and spacious. Comfy bed and a balcony. I do recommend to pay the extra and get a room with ocean view. -Infinity pool: it is located at the 8th floor. You have a breathtaking view from there and the sound of the waves is so soothing. I would recommend to use it in the afternoon though, for in the morning there is no way to escape the sun (i.e. no shade nor umbrella). -Food: I read comments complaining about breakfast. I cannot agree with them. Granted, the selection is not huge, but it is variegated and quite tasty. Especially, I enjoyed the fresh omelets which were made on the spot by a cook. -Tours: you have a great selection of tours. I did the shark bay, half-day and sunset fishing tours with Triton. However, you can also do tours with other operators as well. I, for instance, booked the whale shark and the fish tank tours with Kaani Tours. -The island: Maafushi is a small island close to Malé, but it has all you need and you can walk everywhere with ease. Great selection of restaurants, tour operators and supermarkets. -Miscellaneous: you will get a 1l bottle of water every day in your room. However, you can always request to get more at the reception.

Kaani Palm Beach has a garden, a shared lounge and a sun terrace with swimming pool and buffet breakfast in Maafushi. Great hotel, just in front of the Bikini Beach… The staff was really nice, always happy and helpful.

Situated in South Male Atoll, 25 km from Male City, Kaani Grand Seaview is a beach front property that features a spa centre, fitness centre and a conference room. Very nice hotel at the great position, next to the beach. Front desk guys Tiger and Kasun are more than helpful. Manager Tiger is a legend!

Situated along the coastline of Maafushi, Arena Beach Hotel features modern and tranquil accommodation with free WiFi access in the entire property including rooms. Staff were super kind, polite, smily, happy, helpful and exceeding customer expectations all the time. I didn’t get all the names, but those I had more contact and an AMAZING experience were Rachel and Metri from hotel concierge, Deepak from bar/restaurant, Samai and Ali from amazing half day tour, Hussen from Arena water sports, Belal from beach apparel and Adriano from tour concierge. There are plenty of options for breakfast, with focus on asian food. Rooms are very spacious, clean, comfy and with a stunning view. The hotel arrange your pick up and drop off from the airport (at a cost). Roof top pool with an amazing ocean view.

Facing the beachfront, Lea Spa Hotel offers 3-star accommodation in Maafushi and has a shared lounge, terrace and bar. Everything is new and the staff is very friendly, they make you feel like home, always smiling and with the best attitude

Boasting a private beach area, La Isla Tropica is situated in Guraidhoo in the Kaafu Atoll region, a few steps from Guraidhoo Beach and 200 metres from Kandooma Beach. The guy who’s working here so kind and help full and surrounded by local Muslim community very hospitable people every thing so nice and well recommended for group of people coz their so many tour and activities around the island

Boasting a garden, terrace and views of garden, Nala Island Village is set in Maafushi, 300 metres from Bikini Beach. Featuring an ATM, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. Staf from Bangladesh they are so helpful and guide me every details about the island amazing person

Set a few steps from Gulhi, Pearlshine Retreat Maldives offers 3-star accommodation in Gulhi and has a garden, a shared lounge and a restaurant. What I like the most are the friendliness of Rimu, Jalil and the diving tour's assistance. And of course the feeling on the paradise island of Ghuli.

Ocean Way Guraidhoo features a shared lounge, bar and private beach area in Guraidhoo. I liked everything. I do not regret choosing this island. And I am very glad that I chose this guest house. Ahmed, very friendly, explained everything, helped, told about the island, I traveled alone, at first I was afraid, but thanks to Ahmed, and the residents of the guest house, the rest was wonderful. Ahmed sang a Maldivian song to us on the guitar. It was cozy. Everything is nearby, convenient. The breakfast is delicious. Everything is clean, the photo matches. The beach is awesome. Thank you very much for everything.
