Honestly I love this place. The view is absolutely staggering (there's a viewing platform on the top floor). The breakfast was the best hotel buffet I've ever seen (salmon, cheese, fresh fruit, loads more). And the hotel is made of WOOD! Amazing.

Located in Biri on the shores of Lake Mjøsa, Honne Hotell and Konferansesenter has a dining hall overlooking the lake. A true gem! A very well preserved time capsule from the early 70's. I'm usually not a big fan of 70's architecture, but whoever designed this hotel in 1972 knew what he/she was doing. Unlike most hotels from this era it is also very well maintained and preserved in its original form, with everything in perfect order and working as intended. Most hotels in this category would either be quite run down or "renovated" without any consideration for the original atmosphere (thus losing whatever charm it might once have possessed). Not so Honne. I was also very impressed with the two ladies working the reception ....and the dinner service ...and the breakfast service. How they cope with that work load, while still being extremely efficient and friendly is beyond me. Hats off! The same is probably true for the maintenance staff, which appears to take great pride in preserving this hotel in perfect condition and in its original form.

Located in Kongsvinger, Kongsvinger Castle Hotel & Resort features a garden, shared lounge, restaurant, and free WiFi throughout the property. I’ve stayed here a few times before and have always enjoyed my stays…which is why I stayed here again. For a light sleeper the sound proofed rooms, blackout blinds and comfy bed mean I sleep just as well as at home. As always I received very friendly and courteous service from the staff. The location is of course fantastic up on the hill with 360degree views.

Modern, clean, free coffee and tea, lovely lounge area. We were traveling as a family of six. We booked 2 separate rooms and it was the perfect amount of room for our brief stay. Beds were super comfy, water was nice and hot!

Skistar Lodge Trysil is located 800 Meters above sea level in Fageråsen,Trysil. Norway’s largest Ski Resort. Trysil are also a well-known bicycling area during summer. Great location, comfortable, convenient, and very good service. Juliana at reception and Kanok in the Spa were exceptional!
