From its doorstep, it's a short journey to the Olympic Bobsleigh and Luge Track, the picturesque Lake Mjosa, and the Maihaugen Open-Air Museum. In this regard, the hotel serves as the perfect base for both adventure seekers and culture enthusiasts. What struck me first about the rooms was their inviting nature. The Nordic minimalistic design made each room feel spacious, comfortable, and incredibly clean. There was an impressive attention to detail, ensuring all the amenities - from the efficient WiFi to the comfortable bedding - worked to enhance my stay. Despite being a budget hotel, no corners have been cut in ensuring comfort and quality. One particular feature I'd like to highlight is the hotel's environmentally friendly approach. * Newly renovated Aksjemøllen by Classic Norway, has a unique atmosphere and charm. Modern, clean and very comfortable room for a family (2 adults and a child). Perfect location for visiting Lillehammer only a few minutes walk from train station. The adjoining restaurant is lovely and the food was brilliant - good selection of vegetarian food too. Staff were very friendly and helpful too.

The staff was very nice and attentive. The room and the hotel as a whole were exceptionally clean. Everything was in order in our room, every last bulb and switch. The breakfast was delicious. And the location was very convenient. Overall, a very cozy experience. We especially enjoyed the hotel's lobby where you can get a cup of coffee and sip it by the fireplace. Looking forward to staying there again!
