Located in Chitwan, 40 km from Tharu Cultural Museum, Chital lodge provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. This 1-star hotel offers a bar. Solo traveler; since I booked Bishnu was really great giving me information. I was on a budget so I arrive to barathpur in tour bus and followed his easy instructions to take a public bus to arrive to the place. (Bishnu also offers pick up but if you select my option download the map to now when to stop. From the highway where you get down the bus is a 5-10min walk) Since I arrive I felt their hospitality. The safari that bishnu offers really brings peace, its a walking safari, no animals are used and lets you breathe and take your time and just let the nature reveal itself. Also if there is enough people (or if you asked for it) they arrange a presentation with some locals to show their traditional dances. (It has a cost but is not expensive) His wife cooks really great I tasted the Dal Path and the Pakora. They are made with products from their farm and are some lf the best I have tasted. The rooms are basic but clean and have a really good mosquito net (You will needed) and the wifi is really good. Big thank you to bishnu and his family! Ps: Bring a good camera, its worth it.

The owners are lovely people who helped us with everything. iam booking for the 1night everything was good . 2 Bottled water a day included. They dropped us off and picked us up at the tours and the bus from-to Kathmandu for free.

I loved my stay at Hotel Tree Tops. If I had the time I definitely would have stayed longer. It is so peaceful and the property is beautiful and green. The owners are super kind. Even though the bus stop is quite close by, they picked me up and dropped me off too. I could borrow their bicycle to explore the area which was amazing. They made sure everything was taking care of. Breakfast was good. I booked a safari for a good price and they booked really nice seats for me on the bus back to Kathmandu. The location is amazing, a bit outside of the village centre which makes it super peaceful. Only a little walk (or an even shorter bicycle ride) to the a bit more busy centre. Definitely recommend this place!

My stay was only two nights but I did a day in the Chitwan National Park. I also visited the township and enjoyed looking in the shops and talking to locals. You will find all sorts of supplies here. And get a view of village life on the outskirts of the village centre. These people are very hearty indeed!

Very beautiful country village.
Very beautiful country village. We had a great time there. On the first day we rented a bicycle and went to the elephant breeding project. It was only 4 kilometers away. There you could see baby elephants with their mothers. We also went on a jungle walk in Chitwan national park. It was a great experience, thanks to our very professional guides from Crazy Tiger's Trek & Tours.

Nice small village with main attraction being Chitwan National Park. Go for the Jeep Safari rather than Elephant Safari as it takes deep inside jungle. Canoe ride was also quite good. Try local food Khaja Set.

Right in the middle of Chitwan National Park. Slower paced way of life here in comparison to KTM and Pokhara and a lot hotter too. Chilled out place. Evergreen eco lodge is a great place to stay and super close to the national park entrance. Not so many restaurants around the village but the food at the hotel was amazing so wouldn't bother going anywhere else.

dear all we visit in sauraha . its a very different city of nepal because of the chitwan national park and culture of tharu . we stay at hotel jungle vista . a great service provider of sauraha chitwan . its a budget hotel but in a service like a star hotel . all the staff are very help full and polite . they arrange all the activities like elephent safari boating jungle safari and many more . one things we could not be forget in this hotel we sew the rhino inside the hotel at the night time . they arrange all the pick up and drop from airport to hotel as a very affordable rate . its a good price of pick up from airport to hotel only 20 dollar . thank you hotel jungle vista . thank u so much . raj Australia

The chitwan national park is great! The City itself is Very touristic and consists of dozens of Hotels next to each other and a main street with some Restaurants and Shops. The most interesting are the elephants walking by like normal cars in other Cities.

great place to stay for a few days escpially after the madness of Kathmandu. It’s such a sleepy town, very relaxed. You can grab a beer and walk to the beech and watch the sun go down over Chitwan National Park. There is really good restaurants here like “The Greesy Spoon” with amazing food! There is elephants everywhere and an abundance of wildlife. Really enjoyed this place.

The ambience of the place, being right in front of Chitwan National Park, was great - but it's really the staff that made Meghauli Serai unforgettable. They were extremely kind and hospitable, always made sure we had the best experience, and are just overall wonderful people. I'll definitely recommend this place to my friends and come back! As for the national park- it was incredible; one of the rhinos we saw even walked up to to us!

My friend and I had a spare weekend while in Pokhara and decided to go to Chitwan National Park. It was so easy to book through Booking.com. On arrival to Chitwan we were meet by staff from Landmark and were driven to the motel. Our room was clean and tidy, very spacious and comfy. It was a peaceful and quiet hotel. The staff were very attentive and were always making sure we were happy and comfortable. The Reception staff were so helpful in explaining different types of jungle activities, we always had water or another drink. We were happy with everything.He was very informative, always explaining different animals or places. Highly recommend Canoe trip !! Thanks Landmark...
