Set amongst mature trees and surrounded by the Southern Alps, this beautifully restored local landmark has been transformed into a resort with outdoor swimming pool, tennis and petanque courts. The hotel is in the center of town just a few minutes walk to the springs. The rooms are a good size and comfortable. The pool is a great place to unwind. The breakfast was more than adequate for us to start the day.

Exactly as described and more. Small touches like the owner showing us around the cabin, the platter and fresh eggs from the farm, Towels for the hot springs. Plenty of wood. The most comfortable bed with plenty of blankets to keep you warm.

Most accommodation overlooks Chisholm Park with views towards the mountains.... Amazing amenities and clean. Close to everything withing Hanmer Springs you won't even need to use your car. Exceptional host and a very warm welcome. We had a cabin in the garden so self-contained. It was amazing, being clean and very comfortable. It was cold during our stay and the underfloor heating was great. Excellent shower and facilities. Just a very short walk to the centre and many eateries. In the other direction is the sculpture walk in the forest as well as other trails. Very quiet and we had use of the garden for reading which was lovely. So glad we booked and would recommend.
