First of all, it feels like you're pulling up to your own private mansion. When they say boutique, it's a very accurate description to be fair and in the best of ways. Being offered a drink and a cold towel upon checking in was a really nice touch as well :) Warm welcome indeed. From staff, the rooms, the hot tubs, service in the restaurant, everything was top-notch. The Hotel Managers Darsh, was absolutely outstanding and always made sure I had everything I needed during my stay. Couldn't recommend this place highly enough, so don't hesitate. It's worth it.

Located on the edge of Redwoods forest and overlooking the famous Whakarewarewa Geothermal Reserve and Historical Village, Rydges Rotorua features a purpose-built mountain bike and adventure equipment... Very nicely appointed hotel and facilities.The rooms and common area were clean and appear to be recently redone. The breakfast buffet was excellent, lots of choices, well prepared, and the items were replenished quickly. Grounds are nice, area is quiet and peaceful. Not far from the main part of town, but far enough to be an oasis in a less busy area.

JetPark Hotel Rotorua is a New Zealand owned and operated hotel which is ideally located just a short 5-minute walk from Rotorua town center. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful.. I was able to have my son's emotional support dog which was really good.. well set up, clean grounds and lovely housekeeping staff.. knowing the rooms are professionally carpet cleaned between animals staying was exceptional..

Urban Lounge Sleepery is located in the town centre and overlooks Kuirau Geothermal Park. It is a 2-minute walk from the lake. A great place to stay. Walking distance to everything in town and right across the street from Kuirau Park a free geothermal attraction with amazing views and foot bath. The mess hall was well maintained, the pool was warm, and the wifi was on point. They had computers and a quiet room for those who need to get work done. The staff were super helpful when I needed to add a day and very friendly.

I was upgraded to a room with a view of the lake that still met my other booking requirements. When I decided to stay for another day the staff was able to accommodate my request without having to move my room.

The Princes Gate is a historical, boutique-style hotel in the centre of Rotorua. This classical 4-star hotel is opposite the Polynesian Spa and the famous Government Gardens. Lovely room with kitchenette and living room. The breakfast was good and the lounge area comes with a fireplace too!
