Bambuda Lodge is located in the tropical rain forest in Bocas del Toro. The property features a coral reef off its dock and a swimming pool with an on-site bar and a fun and social atmosphere. Location on a secluded island was perfect. There were no other people (no passer-bys) except for guests and staff- that was safe. Lots of space to roam around and explore. Perfect sitting and relaxation areas. Just a gorgeous hostel, with an ambiance and chill music. I caught boats to go to different islands and explore. Too bad there are no close beaches on the island itself (you have to walk 1 hr to get to the only beach- Hospital Point)

Suyi and JJ are fantastic hosts, always inquiring if we needed anything, always a text away. The property itself is spacious and lovely, with a wide, panoramic balcony that overlooks the bay and most of Old Bridge. The kitchen was well supplied and we were able to buy basic things (rice, oil, tortillas, canned meats and veg) at the store less than 10 minutes away. It was lovely to be in nature and yet not too far away from amenities. Solid internet, not too speedy but reliable and plenty good for being on a fairly remote island.

Punta Rica puhkemajake... Hilltop Eco-Lodge with Views & Pool on hiljuti renoveeritud hommikusöögiga majutusasutus Bastimentoses, kus külalised saavad nautida vaadet basseinile, eraranda ja... Dan & Brian's place overlooks the sea and is just a few steps from a lovely little beach with white sand and coral reefs on either side. They provide snorkelling equipment, paddle boards and kayaks free of charge. The house itself is impressive and the rooms very nicely furnished. Beds super comfy. The pool is a good size and nice and warm, and surrounded by trees full of birds and the occasional sloth or monkey. The food was fantastic and they make great cocktails. They also organised us a private tour to the Zapatillas islands which was idyllic, and they had lots of other great recommendations, including the easy hike to Wizard beach which is stunning and was practically empty.
