Super quality facilities, ideally located in the middle of everything in Funchal, spacious rooms, suberb value for money. The free on-spot parking and the hip and trendy roof top pool bar were the icing on the cake! Higly reccomended. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else next time in Madeira.

The 4-star Aqua Natura Madeira offers elegant rooms with Atlantic Ocean views in the fishing village of Porto Moniz, 45 km north of Funchal city centre. It offers a sauna on site. View of the ocean was amazing. You could just sit in a balcony all day and enjoy the view or sleep with a window open..sound of the waves was very soothing. Having an arrival drink was a nice touch. Also free private access to sauna - meaning for a particular slot no need to share it with others. Also free access to natural pools outside!

The seafront 4-star hotel Aqua Natura Bay in Madeira features an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, a Turkish bath, a sauna and a hot tub. A gym is also available, as well as an on-site diving centre. Perfect location for a getaway and as a base point to discover the island, especially the Western part, just an hours or so drive from the airport/Funchal. You need a car if you want to explore the island. Great view from the room (sunrises are fantastic), comfy beds, nice and modern facilities, inside pool with salt water and infinity pool on the roof, beautiful lounge on the roof to chill, tasty food and great presentation in the restaurants (both breakfast and dinner, we did not have lunch in the hotel). Many cool activities just a minutes walk away: lava pools, diving with sharks and rays in the aquarium, whale and dolphin watching tour. Very pleasant, helpful and friendly staff who made us feel comfortable and welcome from planning prior to our trip until we left. A special thanks for organizing one of the most beautiful flower bouquets ever for my wife's birthday. The people working in this hotel should be proud of themselves for the great job they are doing and the smiles they are putting on the guests faces. Thank you, we would love to come again.
