Utmerket og strøkent hotell med hyggelige og hjelpsomme personalet. Veldig bra beliggenhet med stranden bare et par hundre meter fra hotellet. Spisesteder og andre resorts er bare et steinkast unna. Frokosten på daglig basis var strålende med veldig god service fra alle involvert. Hyggelig atmosfære på uteområde med basseng, og en restaurant med god mat hvor maten kan nytes på en solseng eller i selve restauranten. Dette er et sted vi vil anbefale og kommer til å besøke en gang til når vi returnerer til denne vakre øya.

Very friendly staff, all English speakers. The Wi-Fi signal was very good, also no problems with water and electricity. The house cat and dog are lovely. Max and Elena are very nice hosts, providing us all necessary information for our stay. The breakfast is very good and they also make very nice cocktails.

Located in Pwani Mchangani, 300 metres from Pwani Mchangani Beach, TIANDE Boutique Hotel provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. The property is so pretty- the gardens are beautiful and it’s a quick walk to the beach. Although TianDe isn’t directly on the beach, Mariola (the owner) has a friendly relationship with a neighboring hotel that is first row, so guests can spend time there during the day. The bar and restaurant area are lovely and the food is yummy and fresh- we tried breakfast, lunch and dinner. The pool is sparkling, and the staff is warm and hard-working. Our room was clean and comfortable, with A/C, tea/coffee, good shower, nice decor. Mariola and her boyfriend live on site- they are doing a fantastic job running TianDe with a lot of hard work and love. We wish them success and will recommend to TianDe to anyone traveling to Zanzibar.

Sunny Villa Matemwe has an outdoor swimming pool, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Matemwe. The hotel is small and friendly, it gave us a real homely feeling that despite the full house, we were able to enjoy the pool and restaurant together. We could order dinner on time. The hotel is 50 m from the ocean shore, with four huge rooms and two family-friendly suites, a swimming pool, and a cozy restaurant waiting for travelers who want to relax. The staff is extremely kind, they clean the rooms every day. Aziza and Sammy stole into our hearts. We whole heartedly recommend the hotel to anyone who needs western comfort, but wants to experience Africa, the daily life of local residents, watch the local children playing football from the hotel terrace...

The manager, Sadiq,here is very attentive and helpful. The pool and courtyard are peaceful and quiet. Very close to the beach. A very relaxing holiday. Thank you.

Located in Matemwe, 600 metres from Matemwe Beach, Haber Hotel & SPA provides accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a garden. The room was very big and comfortable. Breakfast was awesome, big and many options. Very good food the the hotel. Friendly and helpful owners. The hotel is not right on the beach but the beach is very close, it is a walking distance or you can also use a free bike. That was actually the reason why we selected this hotel as you may use bikes to get to some other nearest locations/beaches without any extra cost. Still, you probably need to be aware that during the day it will be very hot and a bike adventure might be a challenge, and at night the road will be the darkest place on Earth. If you plan to use the bikes bring your own light. The ones at the hotel didn't have any lights which seemed to be a rule on Zanzibar.

Now this is what good hospitality is about 🙌🏾 .Everything about this hotel is amazing. It’s spacious, you have plenty of amenities in your room, the staff was really good. The food is amazing.

Zanzicrown features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Nungwi. This 3-star hotel offers a bar. We stayed at this hotel for 10 days. I chose the hotel for quite a long time before the trip, looked at the reviews on different platforms, and noticed one thing, all the reviews praise the homely and friendly atmosphere, and note the owner Elena. And I made a decision, I want to find out who this Elena is and why everyone is so happy. Starting from the arrival, Enrique was very nice and welcoming, helped with the accommodation. During the stay at the hotel, they helped in everything. In search of tours, advised restaurants, places. Breakfast was included, even though we slept for a long time, and was only able to wake up at breakfasts time twice, breakfast was delicious and there was good variety of food. I would like to thank Elena, Enrique and Nassor for the warm welcome and great hospitality. If I return to Zanzibar, I will definitely stay at this hotel again

The place was amazing, the hotel was really authentic and I really liked the vibe. It’s perfect for solo travellers and families as well. The staff was extremely kind and friendly. The bungalows were clean and they provided all the necessary amenities for a perfect and comfortable stay. The breakfast and the dishes were exceeded my expectations, everything was really delicious. Absolutely can recommend HEBE Bungalows and hope I can come back one day!

Facing the beachfront, Mambo Paradise offers 4-star accommodation in Matemwe and features free bikes, outdoor swimming pool and garden. The hosts/owner are extremely helpful and friendly and gave us personalized service at request (e.g. helped us to find soap, allowed us to stay longer on check-out day for our convenience). We feel very much home staying there, and really enjoyed the cozy local vibe at the place. Beautiful view to the beach and the sea.
