We have spent two nights and a full day at the hotel to make sure we fully enjoyed all it has to offer: - The style of the buildings and decoration are wonderfully tasteful, very comfortable and match well with the natural environment - The food was delicious, with a menu à la carte. Great breakfast as well. When we were the only guests to have lunch, the chef composed our menu with us - The view on the lake and the environment are amazing. We did a nice walk along the lake and saw some animals like impalas, monkeys, birds etc. We even saw a big group of wildebeests just passing down our plunge pool! - I have to finish with what impressed us the most, which was the staff, always nearby but discreet, ready to answer all needs of the guests, they always made sure we were comfortable. On our last day, we had to get up and leave very early, everybody was on deck for check out and to pack us breakfast for the road Thank you to all the Manyara’s Secret team, we will keep great memories thanks to you

Set in Mto wa Mbu, Africa Safari Lake Manyara located inside a wildlife park offers accommodation with seating area. It was in a beautiful, seemingly remote location yet just a few minutes from Mto wa Mbu and the nearby safari parks. Quiet, gorgeous, and natural. right in the banks of Lake Manyara, with baboons, zebra, and monkeys in the camp. Great swimming pool and facilities. fantastic hot water in the bathrooms with plenty of pressure! the staff were wonderful. Michiel, the camp manager, was very attentive, as were all staff. no complaints whatsoever!

Well-located immersive experience in a visionary setting - the lodges finance a local Maasai school that we could visit, as well as other projects supporting local development, in a holistic and sustainable way. The hosts were extremely friendly, the food at the bonfire was tasty, the huts were traditional yet new and well-kept, and the amenities (water except no hot water, solar lights, etc) were well-maintained and clean. Family with 2 small kids enjoyed the trip on the way to a national park, but we would also return for a longer cultural immersion.
