The Lord Milner Hotel is situated in the historic village of Matjiesfontein in the Karoo region, just of the N1 highway. This Victorian style hotel features a garden and restaurant. The Lord Milner Hotel is an antique wonder, with modern facilities. I had a beautiful room with a lounge area, enormous bathroom, king-size bed with top sheet and aircon. My companion was moved from her original room into a charming one with a balcony overlooking the original road. The free bus tour and ghost story are a delight and Johnny leads everyone in a great singalong in the Laird’s Arms. The dinner was excellent and the included breakfast huge. A definite treat along the route to Cape Town.

Located in Prince Albert, Brakdakkie Guest Cottages combines old world charm with unique Karoo inspired decor. All units feature a private patio with splash pool and barbecue facilities. Lots of caracter, pleasant experience. Good value.

Schulteheim Hotel is located in the town centre of Uniondale, Opposite the Historical Dutch Reformed Church designed in 1884 by Famous Carl Otto Hager. The hotel isn't much out of ordinary, but the hospitality & helpfulness of manager Regi, made our short stay in Uniondale memorable and pleasant. The breakfast was great as well.

Amazing food for dinner. Beds were comfortable, and blankets were heated during a very cold night. Bathroom was very clean and modern looking. Environment was beautiful.

Boasting a patio with pool views, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and a garden, Hannah's Haven Studio Deluxe - No loadshedding can be found in Beaufort West, close to Christian Barnard Museum... It was a very pleasant night. The place has everything you need for a short stay staring with towels and finishing with coffee and biscuits. Definitely recommend it for a sleepover in Beaufort West.
