The resort facilities for the kids were fantastic including the activities calendar. Us adults had a great time too with bingo etc. so much to do and keep yourself entertained. The cleaning and housekeeping staff were incredible. The restaurant is well priced and the food was delicious. We ate there a few times. Cocktails were also good and very well priced. We went in winter but summer would have even more options for the kids, especially the water centre. Definitely try the spa, masseuse were all fantastic, whole family had massages. And the waters as a a farewell gift for the car as well as all the other small touches definitely made us feel special.

Thank you to everyone at Steynshoop for making our stay as pleasurable as can be.

The decor and attention to detail is creative and authentic. The shower is the best ever. Our stay surpassed all expectations. We highly recommend anyone to share this amazing experience. Well done to all the staff and management of this establishment. We give you ***** five stars.

Located just 5 minutes' walk from Maropeng and within 10 minutes' drive from the Sterkfontein Caves, Maropeng Boutique Hotel offers air-conditioned rooms. Staff were terrific. We particularly enjoyed the restaurant. The food was extraordinary, as was the presentation. Your chef deserves a Michelin star.
