Located in Mooiriver, Hartford House provides 5-star hotel accommodation with valley views of the Drakensberg. Just a perfect hotel! Wonderful setting. Beautiful room. So many details and such a kind attention for the guests. The dinner was stunting! Waw! Breakfast amazing with a lovely view (the garden).

Situated within 12 km from Mooi River, surrounded by meadows, Midlands Saddle and Trout offers an array of activities from fishing, mini golf and horse riding. The rooms were really nice and clean. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

Nottingham Road Hotel is a historical landmark known as Notties by many generations of locals. It is situated in the village of Nottingham Road, in the heart of the Midlands Meander. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent and very tasty. The management even arranged transport for us to the wedding venue

Couldn't fault this beautiful place, Andrew was so welcoming on arrival, his hospitality was second to none. Absolutely loved hearing of the local area and recommendations of where to visit and they didn't disappoint. The rooms are located in a beautiful courtyard with the most homely vibes, we settled into our stay within minutes. The pictures of this beautiful place do not do it any justice. Highly recommend staying here

This was an unexpected stay in the area after car troubles but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise! We stumbled on this farm in a panicky effort to find pet-friendly accommodation and I still can't believe our good fortune. The farm, and everyone on it, are fantastic. We were looking for a room for 1 night and ended up staying a lot longer. The cottages are incredibly comfortable, spacious, spotless, thoughtfully decorated and well kitted out in all rooms - the electric blankets, log fires, hot tub and freshly baked bread were amazing! There is plenty of space for the family, friends and furbabies. The setting is pretty spectacular - what a beautiful part of the world - and there are plenty of things to do within the property including fishing, hiking and birdwatching. Take the time to find the cranes, they're beautiful! A very big thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make our stay so special. Deborah, in particular, was fantastic and really saved the day, I cannot speak highly enough of her and everything she has done for us - it is so encouraging to know that there are such kind people in this world, who will drop everything to come and rescue complete strangers. Do yourself a favour and book one of the cottages, it is 100% worth it!!
