This part of Koh Chang is lovely and has a quiet vibe perfect for couples and young families alike. The resort and is beautifully landscaped, spotless and superbly run. It has real class and is amazing value for money. You won't find a better place to stay in Koh Chang. Daily shuttles up to the main road with a choice of restaurants and shops to explore if you are booked in for more than a couple of days.

The place nice, quiet and clean in the jungle. I could sit and work outside on the terrace. Nice swimming pool. Walkable distance to restaurants, shops ATM and other things on the Iland. 10 minutes to the beach.

Set in Ko Chang, within 1.8 km of Kai Bae Beach and 400 m of Klong Prao Beach, Papaya Cottage Koh Chang offers accommodation with a garden and free WiFi throughout the property as well as free private... From the moment I stepped into this place, I felt welcome, like I was home. Peter and Ae greeted me warmly, provided all the information I needed about Koh Chang, and took care of everything for me. They helped me get the best scooter (the roads are dangerous, so you need a good one!), arranged diving and tours, and assisted with anything else I wanted. When I fell a bit sick while traveling alone, they took me in and cared for me like family. They even invited me and the other guests to a family BBQ on a Sunday evening. Besides the incredible hospitality, the location is perfect—situated between White Sand Beach and Kai Bae. This area is the easiest to drive on a scooter, and the beaches are wonderful (including Chai Chet in the middle). You can also reach Lonely Beach in just 15 minutes by driving. The surroundings have everything you need: great food, a 7/11, a gas station, and more. The cottage itself is lovely and comfy. The shower has hot water, the air conditioning worked great, and there’s a balcony and a small kitchen area with coffee and a fridge. Plus, there’s a shared kitchen outside the room with every kitchen tool you could think of. The Wi-Fi was superb, even better than the Wi-Fi at the co-working spaces on the island. No wonder I came for three nights and ended up staying for almost a month. Thank you, Peter, Ae, and all the wonderful and lovely staff. This will be my home every time I visit Koh Chang from now on.

Great new resort on a very peaceful side of the island. Beautiful gardens and very clean pool. The hotel has a free shutle service to 'White Sand Beach', where there are lots of beach bars and restaurants. They also offer free bikes. You can also rent brand new scooters directly at the hotel for 250b a day, whitout needing to leave a deposit or passport. Rooms on the 2nd floor of the building in front of the pool are very well maintained. Good size, nice view into the jungle/ pool. Staff is very accomodating and helpful. They were able to cook pancakes with soya milk instead of normal.

Located on the beachfront in north-eastern side of Ko Chang, Amber Sands Beach Resort features a private beach area, free WiFi and a parking area. The location is on the best side of the island, less crowded. Little beach with fantastic amber sand. Family owned, you feel at home, the owner does whatever to make you feel comfortable. Facilities are available for free. A real feel good place. With a bike you get around from here to the best places to visit. Absolutely recommended.

This resort is very tranquil, beautifully landscaped and made really great by the staff’s friendliness and helpfulness. I also have to mention their kitchen - every dish was delicious and authentic regardless of whether Thai or Western, so there was no need to go out searching for outside restaurants. Free use of kayaks and paddle boards a welcome bonus. The resort bungalows are very comfortable and well kitted out. The staff can arrange bike or car hire, boat trips, snorkelling trips etc. great base to explore the island.

The location was ideal right on the beach. Bang Bao Beach is pretty remote so it’s not walkable to other areas of the island even the pier. The staff were helpful and friendly.
