Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

BrazilBathroom wasn’t very clean. There was a lot of Mold on the shower glass, room 2126. The experience of the Vitoria dinner was bad ( bad service, waitress took a lot to bring the drinks and as our reserve was the last one at 10 pm, when we asked for a second round he said eh could t open more bottles of wine - unacceptable). Sauna needs to be cleaned more often.

NetherlandsThe Airco was quite powerful, what is a good thing off course. But blowing air directly towards the bed. This cold flow was a bit too much, and without a blanket, it was really chilly (turned the heat up, but no real effect). The shower could be more clean, the space between the tiles are black from the bacteria.
Location and view from my room, outstanding. The staff was very friendly, although not that many speak English, they did tried and helped out, always! More then enough places to eat and awesome deserts, with a view over the sea, what more could you wish for.

UruguayThe lack of people speaking Spanish, specially for kids. We have little kids and we couldn’t send them to the “Entretenimiento Infantil” because they wouldn’t understand anything. Also, we went to the Parque Ecologico with our kids (around 6:30pm) and we encountered a 0.5m snake. Luckily for us it ran away, but we were really close when we realized it. I don’t know if this is something common for you, but if you know there are this kind of animals, you should have definitely warned us. Imagine what would happened if one of us got bitten.. Are you prepared to deal with situations like this? Lastly, I didn’t like the lack of an entrance ramp for a baby carriage. I had to carry it up and down over the stairs every time..
The service, and the “all inclusive” offer. The environment is spectacular, besides the fact it rained most of our staying.

ChileI believe such a hotel where you pay enough for booking there shouldn’t charge for details such as arriving 45 min before or even requesting “a milk” at your apartment. Those details make the difference between all inclusive hotels in Central America and this one in Brasil.
landscape is beautiful, hotel is really nice and complete. pools are great and warm! Good kids club, although 100% in Portuguese so couldn’t use it much.

Well… we chose the place for a special reason! My husband and I got married last Aug 15th at the little chapel they have!!! And our honeymoon was at the same place!!! It was perfect! Place is wonderful, food is outstanding! Thousands of thing to do… or to do nothing! We will keep great memories from there!

ItalyThe jacuzzis didn’t work at all. Food quality is poor. Drinks in the room are charged even if it’s “all inclusive”. No service at the pool for drinks like in similar hotels as club med, you need to be standing in line waiting every time you want a drink. Needs renovation.
Nice views from the room. Good sparkling wines. Attentive staff.

BrazilI had to call the manager at the check-in to get a room compatible with my reservation. All the check-in staff there were saying that my first room was correct, even though other hotel staff were saying my first room was not with sea view, as booked. Also, it was very, very crowded so we had to avoid the social area as much as possible due to the COVID. The food was just OK even in the restaurants with reservations. Booked activities were near impossible to do as they were for a very small group, compared to the number of guests in the hotel. Too overpriced.
