Positive section of review
The hotel was easy to find being in the middle of Bitburg although reception is round the back of the building and a little harder to find. Parking is available which was handy for a couple of Motorbikes. The restaurant was closed, but bars and restaurants are near by. Breakfast is available though. The staff were friendly and spoke good English. The rooms were good and spacious.

Spacious room with fully equipped kitchen as described. Located in a peaceful and relaxing Eifel with a lot of green, but you can get your needs in nearby supermarkets, bakeries and restaurants. It is ideal place to have peaceful, relaxing holiday.

The owner/staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. He even carried our breakfast to the patio so that we could eat outside the shared spaces, because we were wearing masks.

I hated that my original room was assigned to someone else without my knowledge and I had to badge in on a semi naked man while having access to his room. It was really embarrassing and confusing for both of us. This raised concerns about security through out my stay. It took a while to resolve because there was no network access inside the hotel building which was really frustrating.

Very very rude and unfriendly staff member, was busy in his head with preparing breakfast, did not want to answer a simple question which direction the airport was simply because he was busy with preparing the breakfast ?? He shut the door from restaurant before my nose cause he was not ready yet ( I was indeed 10 min too early but thought it was already open) ? So I decided to go without the breakfast that is no problem there is a very good bakery with very friendly ladies in the area... If you cannot handle hospitality or get up early you should not work in gastronomie or hotel branche.. A very unsympathic man that really likes to stress hotel guests because he thinks he is busy or important ... If you want a relaxing start of the day STAY AWAY from this hotel there are many options in the neighbourhood of the airport. I have travelled in more than 500 hotels and this is my first negative experience in this form with staff so I know what I am talking about....

The surrounding wasn’t well kept. Smoking area was filthy and every morning and night there was this sewage smell taking over the bathroom and corridors. It wasn’t fixed even after I reported. No ironing table or electric iron in the room neither was there water heater or tea/coffee making materials in the room.

The rooms were left uncleaned because they only clean after 3days stay. I had a baby so I used lots of nappies, my bin was full but they refused to change it as I had been in the room for 2 days and not 3. No iron in the room and the common iron at the utility room was not working. You will iron for 10min and the outfit will still be the same. Only 1 staff member in the evening at reception so no calls answered, and I had to wait for minutes unend to buy a drink because receptionist always busy serving people at the bar. Breakfast was horrible as there wasn’t a lot of options, juices are made of 80% water, very tasteless
