The views across the bar from the window were wonderful to wake up to every morning. Just a short stroll to the High Street with pubs shops etc. Great shower and comfortable beds what more can you ask.

Great location with dedicated parking. Overlooking both the harbour and the Ffestiniog railway and within easy walking distance of the station. The centre of Portmadoc is also easlily accesable on foot, with the Maritime Museum worth a visit. Host is freindly and keen to help if needed.

The only issue I had and it wasn't the property fault etc but my physical issues is the stairs to the upstairs but I have issues with every set of stairs. Even in my own home so no real problems.

The flat and facilities were well above our expectations. Everything made my holiday like a dream plus it was so close to the beautiful harbour where views over it were exceptional from the roof of our bedroom. And to be able to watch the trains filling with coal etc. I will definately be considering again to return again.

It’s hard to find any negatives here, If we had to be pushed for anything we would say the 10am check out if this moving friars was midday this would of made it outstanding …. will 100% be coming back and recommending this place to friends and family.

It’s the perfect home from home and the host/owner Edward made this so before we even arrived by being in contact on a friendly level with all the information we’d need even before we thought about it. Ideally located at Porthmadog which puts you geographically in a superb spot to visit most places well within an hour, With great views of the harbour and cute little train station. If you’re looking for an immaculate little HQ whilst in Wales then this is the place. Great value for money and it’s nice to see an owner invest in their rental property with an immaculate modern kitchen and bathroom. This property has everything you need whilst on your stay and with a Tesco round the corner it’s so easy to grab a few bits for the fridge and cupboards on your way in. A very nice apartment. Very clean and comfortable. The location for was just right for an old steam nut like myself, easy to drive to and the parking spot right outside the door. The kitchen was well equipped and have a welcome pack to get you started. There was also a good selection of books etc. I found it very quiet, other than the odd engine whistle from the Ffestiniog,

One thing only out of an otherwise excellent stay - didn't find the bed or pillows particularly comfortable, too soft.

Very comfortable and spotless.comfortable beds and bedding.everything in property there for you.very well thought out.have stayed in location many years now so no surprises.property had wonderful views of harbour and mountains. Heating and wifi good too.should have booked for longer as we had lovely weather which was icing on the cake!

No washing machine/dryer which wasn't a problem on a 3 night stay but might be less convenient for a longer period.

Great location overlooking Porthmadog harbour and a convenient parking space with easy access to the High St. Liked the arrangement of the living/kitchen area on the first floor. Owner was very helpful. The apartment is small but well-planned, a good base if you're planning to be out and about. Would stay again.

The Balcony was a huge plus for us. We spent every morning and every evening sitting there, soaking up the sun and the beautiful harbour views. The apartment was clean, beds were very comfortable and it was the right size for a small family. The owner was welcoming, helpful and always available to answer questions. We would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

The huge amount of long, overly detailed emails from Sykes Holiday Cottages. The stingy small pack of 2 tea bags, 2 sachets of coffee and two pots of uht milk for a house booked for 3 people for 2 nights. The bedrooms are very small, the door to the double bedroom doesn't open fully because it hits the bed. Bathroom is very small and cold unless you leave the towel rail on the whole time, which you are told several times not to do. The shower floods the floor because of the very strange shower screen. Not great value for money.

Great location. Nice terrace where you can glimpse steam trains. But be careful, it is very slippery in the rain.
