Receptionist could have been more welcoming. Pity no breakfast .

The location was good for us, as it broke our journey to the The Lakes. Our room had a lovely view and the bed was very comfortable.

I believe it’s going to be revamped and it needs it.

Lovely view of the lake, plenty of space to put things, quite dated decor and only one usable power point Quite a good location.

Not Applicable - Nothing not to Like

For what it is - an overnight hotel located directly on the M6 - the Days Inn Killington Lake was a very pleasant surprise. Good accommodation, clean, spacious room, secure parking, helpful staff, fair price, pleasant surroundings with peaceful views and nice walks. Most impressed and would definitely stay here again.

The rooms lacked a mini fridge, iron etc. would appreciate if those could be provided to guests as it really helps especially when traveling with families.

The room was spacious and we were easily able to adjust as 4 adults and 2 children.

No plugs by the bed. My husband sleeps with a CPAP and we had to have the wire across from the opposite wall, not ideal mainly as it's a trip hazard at night in the dark. But that was our only issue.

Fairly basic, but clean and tidy. Liked that the single beds were in a separate area in the room so our child was separate from us enough for us to not disturb him after he went to bed. No noise from other rooms, walls are quite thick. Lovely view. Only interaction with staff was a quick check in. All very smooth, and pleasant. I'd use this hotel again.

The rooms and bathrooms need a complete refurbishment although they are basically adequate.

The location is brilliant with easy access to the Lake District. The view that we had from the room of Killington Lake and the hills was beautiful. Both the rooms we had (the first room had a very uncomfortable mattress as the new one hadn't arrived so we were moved to another room) were family rooms and spacious enough for us and our dog. One of the rooms had been partially refurbished with a newer heater, the other with a new carpet, chair and mattress, but both were warm and clean. Outside the grass areas made it easy to accommodate the dog's needs! The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful especially Dianne and John and although we had a few issues they were dealt with quickly and efficiently. Overall we had a lovely time and would stay here again.
