The mattress, it was quite uncomfortable, that did spoil my stay a little. I knew that the room was on top floor, and for all the money I paid, I felt that was a good compromise. So that was my own choice.

i liked the location, so close to the old quarters of Dunfermline, and very close to the Andrew Carnegie park, I really enjoyed walking to and from there. Although i liked to listen to the hustle bustle of the town centre noise at first, it latterly became somewhat annoying around 1am!! The staff were really nice, the room was clean, the bedding was good, plenty hot water too, so i enjoyed a lovely deep hot bath after all my driving and walking that day. A great breakfast, plenty to eat, and really appreciated the fact that fresh fruit was available too.

We booked a discounted room that was over the kitchen and as advised it was very warm so made things a bit uncomfortable. Would recommend paying a bit more and getting a better room.

the only thing i was not to happy with was my room number 6 and it was just above the kitchen and outdoor area where it got very noisy. Other than that i was not really unhappy with anything else

food was good and freshly cooked. the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Although the room was good it is a bit dated the shower room was huge. Thank you my stay was really nice especially as a lone female traveller

Room decoration nil. Windows difficult to open. Bathroom needs hooks for dressing gowns and or toilet bags. Shower mat required for entry and exit in shower cubicle. Safety hand rail needed in entry and exit area of shower cubicle. Toilet roll holder hanging off wall. Towels thin and worn out.

Location was great, 10 minutes from Theatre, 1 minute from the Pittencrieff Park. Rooms were large and comfortable. Beds were good. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Saturday night is very busy in the bar due to the dreaded Karaoke. Fine for the younger party people, but our room was above the noise.

24 hour reception was great, as I came in very late. I also particularly enjoyed the vegetarian breakfast option.

We were on the first floor and there was a bit of noise from the bar below. Not a problem for us, we can sleep through anything, but if you're sensitive to noise at night, bring earplugs or ask for a room higher up.

Perfectly placed hotel, right next to Pittencrieff Park. As we were attending a beer festival in the park, we couldn't have been in a better place. It's easy walking access to a variety of food spots, although the hotel itself had a great breakfast. Massive car park directly behind the hotel makes for easy access by car!

The location is perfect, the room is amazing for what we want and it’s so central for parking and what Dunfermline has to offer.
