There was nothing to complain about really bar perhaps there could be some ham on the continental breakfast bar

The staff were friendly and polite. Room and facilities were clean and tidy. Shower was good too

Only thing I hate is the shared bathrooms, I know there are rooms with toilets but the extra money doesn't really make it worth it..

Only minor criticism is would have preferred a little more choice on the ' continental ' breakfast such as yoghurt , grapefruit and more croissants available as they didn't seem to be replenished when ran out although may have been available if asked for.

The room was superb , good size, well decorated in modern colours, plenty of space around the king size bed and a great wet room styled ensuite with a walk in shower. The fittings in the ensuite were all first class and quality products and really spacious. There were tea and coffee making facilities and a large flat screen TV on the wall. The venue itself is a large pub with dining facilities both indoor and outdoor with a large rear outside space. and offers accommodation with multiple rooms downstairs and upstairs. The pub is not a town centre ' rowdy ' type attracting youngsters so even on a Saturday Bank Holiday weekend it was reasonably quiet with mainly diners in the pub areas and certainly no late licence to risk annoying residents. We decided to eat on the premises and there was a varied reasonably priced menu with 2 for 1 offers and the food was excellent. I cannot understand some of the mediocre food reviews for this site unless they have their own ' agendas ' to pursue as we couldn't fault the food or service and would definitely stay here again.

The window in the bathroom was broken and wasn't closed, I had to lift the window to get it to close. The TV wouldn't load any channels and I gave up trying to watch tv. The walls are very thin, I could hear when people were going to the toilet and whole conversations

The Value for money was good, it was a comfortable room and breakfast included. The room itself is fairly basic and I had to keep reminding myself how much the room cost. The bathroom has a nice modern feel to it, the shower looked great and was good. Breakfast was ok considering the cost.

I am not going to pick faults

I thought the staff although very young were excellent especially the young lady manager was exceptional I forget her name due togetting old perhaps ,but she has a great future . There is a breakfast consists of pastries toast plenty of coffee and tea and at the price of the rooms is very unexpected The bar is good and our meal was really good We were a group of 15 and were well taken care of

Low water pressure on the showers, rooms and general decor a little tired

Nice and quiet on an evening, located close to Corby centre for the gym and supermarkets, bathrooms were plentiful and kept tidy and clean, rooms were comfortable and clean

Window wouldn't open much for ventilation as no air con. Bathroom needs a shelf for wash bag etc.

Probably the own criticism I have just a minor one. The telly didn’t work in my room but that could’ve been news error and the room could do with USB sockets

The wifi was great and super stable, however, it only worked downstairs. Staff knew about the problem, but did not have any resolution. Also, the downstairs bar, where the wifi worked, was open just till somewhere around 9 in the evening.

Location was great for our purpose of travel and the place had a big parking space, which was important for us.

Maybe a little more variety at breakfast?

Rooms were clean and had everything you needed, for one night a shared bathroom wasn’t too bad but a long walk when you’re at the end of the corridor.

The Raven was lovely. It's the second time we have stayed and we will be returning in July. The room was very good and the bed was comfortable. Good continental style breakfast. Great value. Highly recommend.

Very little not to like, I guess the room might have come with shampoo and body wash, rather than just a small bar of soap. Other than that it was all good.

The reception I received on arrival was firs class, the room was smart and comfortable. The dinner downstairs in the bar was if anything, too much food. Great location of you have to be in Corby, not too far from the town centre. The staff are all really nice, nothing too much trouble. I was very pleasantly surprised by the Raven.

Understanding of breakfast included wasnt clear. I may be wrong to assume but I would have thought that included a English breakfast? All that was on offer was toast, fruit and crossiant. Staff member didn't explain options. But kind enough to offer tea/coffee.
