“Traditional room with tatami and futons which made our stay impressive. The room was very clean and quite big as for the japanese standards. It was very well equipped, too. The hotel staff was kind and helpful. The shops and bus stops are nearby. Good place to start to discover Kyoto on foot, too. To be recommended.”
“The location was opposite Kyoto station so easy to find.”
“The japanese style of the room reminded us a classical Ryokan. Sleeping on a futon and tatami floor is a great experience.
The location of the hotel is perfect because it allows to reach easily the subway and the train station.”
“Location: The hotel is extremely well located, within easy walking distance for the main train station and metro stations. There are also many restaurants and places to eat locally. It offers a coin-operated laundry room for guests, free ice-cream and ice-lollies (popsicles). There was also a microwave for guest use in the lift-lobby and vending machine provision on the ground floor.
Room: the room was well appointed and the amenities bar at reception provided us with any incidentals we needed as well as tea and coffee that we could make in our room. The aircon and room control dashboard was excellent - really easy to operate and effective. The shower and bathroom facilities were excellent and although a little smaller than we would have liked we found the room to be very good value for the price point.”
“right next to train station, excellent room (washer/dryer/hinoki tub/spacious/big beds), good value”
“- food was very good and reasonable price
- good location
- staff was very friendly
- room was very spacious and clean”
“It’s near the Gion area (near Ninenzaka and my stay was comfortable. The kitchen and common areas to hang around were clean and the really liked the bed was comfortable and toilets were super clean. Plus point was that I meet and talked to fellow travellers and even made a friend during my stay there.”
“facilities are fantastic. the onsen & sauna is great, location couldnt be any better.”
