Joel and his wife are both so friendly. Joel gives tips to all travelers about the treks. And every time end of the day asks to people how their hike went. So they make you feel really cared. The location of the hostel is a bit of out of the center but it’s easy to go around with Uber or public bus. The kitchen has few equipment to cook, which is not the best but still sufficient.

We enjoyed the spacious, well appointed, 2br apartment with views of the channel. Location was easy walking to the port, shopping and great restaurants. We enjoyed having the kitchen for making most of our meals. Washing machine was very handy for washing the towels and our clothes.

This is the best hostel I've ever stayed in during 6 months of traveling in South America. The owners really make you feel like you're at home and part of the family. Everyone tends to eat together at the large dining table which is a great way to get to know the other travelers.
