Apartment Donella is 300 meters from one of the gates leading into San Gimignano. The apartment has private and secure parking. We were met by the lovely owner who showed us around the apartment. Beautiful view from the balcony over the Tuscan landscape. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms and a full kitchen with everything needed for a comfortable and pleasant stay. The place is clean and spotless. We felt very lucky to stay here as we were away from the tourist crowd during the day and could walk up to the beautiful town early morning and explore the town without the crowd. We can only recommend the place to other travellers- it’s a gem. Thank you for a wonderful and unforgettable stay.

Very central to public transport and hop on hop off buses for exploring Rome. Surprisingly quiet for such a busy location. Our room was towards the rear of the property and not street facing. Everything was clean and well maintained. All staff were friendly and very helpful. Great restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Open at 7pm for dinner.

The location is absolutely amazing, quiet, beautiful, and a great slice of Tuscany. The property itself is also lovely, an old Tuscan farm house fixed up with modern amenities. Really great.

My only major complaint is that the curtains were not thick enough to block the sun, which is a problem with the long hours of daylight. There are some other minor problems, but nothing to take away from the good.

It would have been good to have a kettle in the room however there was a small kitchen area on each floor shared between 2 rooms only with many snacks ,tea and coffee which was great
